Everyone faces moments when they need someone to talk to, pray with, or help them process life’s difficulties. That’s why we offer free counseling to our church family—members and those who regularly attend worship or Bible study at Second.

Counseling Center FAQs

Our free counseling services are available to church members and those who regularly attend worship or Bible study at Second Baptist Church.

No. All six campuses are welcome to use the Counseling Center located at:

6400 Woodway Dr, Houston, TX 77057

We provide two types of counseling: short-term biblical guidance led by pastors or counseling student interns, and Christ-centered professional counseling with licensed counselors.

Yes. All counseling sessions are confidential and conducted in a safe, respectful environment.

To begin, please call our Counseling Center at 713-365-6095. Our staff will assist you with the next steps. Our hours are Monday–Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM
