This month we will share Bible stories and games with our children to help them recognize different ways to help people. At home, help them understand that because God helps them have what they need, they can share with others. Children can realize that treating others with kindness helps everyone to be friends.
Happy to Help
Matt is three years old, and he wants to help. In fact, he loves to help! He's eager to mow the lawn and trim the hedges (and we wish he could)! That helpful spirit is an amazing thing, but how do you nurture it and help your child continue to help others as a way of obeying God as he or she grows? Here are some ideas:
- Give age-appropriate chores. Washing vegetables or plastic dishes, watering plants or scooping dry pet food gives both of you satisfaction, not frustration!
- Honor helpfulness! Provide kidsized tools, aprons, stools, etc. to help your child become a competent and successful worker.
Value the effort over the result. Thank your little one for the help just as politely as you would thank an adult.

The Nursery is located in A Building. Children will be received 15 minutes prior to a scheduled event.
Regular Hours:
Saturday, 5-7:30PM
Sunday, 8:00AM-12:30PM
