The Prayer Ministry

The Prayer Ministry has the privilege of praying for the needs of many individuals from all over the world, as well as those in our Second Baptist Family. We are the first point of contact for deaths or emergency hospitalizations--alerting a pastor for immediate response.

Pray For Others

The Online Prayer Room provides approved intercessors with the opportunity to pray over requests from all of our campuses and doing so from the location of their choice. It offers a personalized prayer experience such as setting preferences for the types of needs, praying for those in your class or group, or optional background music.

Request Prayer

We are most efficient when we receive your prayer request by email for both non-emergency and emergency requests (deaths and hospitalizations). If you do not have immediate access to email, please call the 24 Hour Prayer Line at 713.932.PRAY (7729) or submit your request online.

Support Through A Health Crisis

Second Baptist Church has partnered with CareFlash to provide you with a free centralized, private, secure website to share your medical circumstances and needs with friends and family.
